APARTAMENTO PLAZA MAYOR CENTRICO, Madrid

The apartment sits in the absolute centre of Madrid, within walking distance of major attractions, shops, and restaurants. Sol and Plaza Mayor are less than two minutes on foot, and the metro is very close, making car-free exploration simple. Nearby dining includes Museo del Jamon, Restaurante DCorazon, and La Mallorquina, all about 300 metres away. For groceries and essentials, several shops are within a minute or two. The location is ideal for travellers who want to walk everywhere and avoid relying on public transport, though the neighbourhood is very busy with pedestrian traffic.

The accommodation is a self-contained apartment with a private bathroom, compact kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge, pots, pans, glassware, and utensils, plus a washing machine and toaster. The bedroom features a comfortable bed, and the living space includes air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, and a hairdryer. Some units include a double balcony, though it is too small to sit out on - better for standing views of the lively street. The apartment is clean, well-maintained, and decorated with a modern, pleasant aesthetic. It is best suited for couples or solo travellers, as the space feels comfortable for two people.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge, and cooking utensils, making self-catering easy for breakfast or simple meals. The central location means dozens of restaurants, tapas bars, and cafés are within two to five minutes on foot - including Museo del Jamon for cured meats and La Mallorquina for pastries. No breakfast is provided on site, so guests either cook at the apartment or step out to one of the many nearby eateries.

The property does not offer a pool, spa, sauna, or gym. Its primary leisure value is location-based: guests can walk directly from the apartment to Madrid's main cultural and entertainment hubs - Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace, and the Gran Via, all within a few minutes on foot.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment and building. A lift serves the upper floors, easing access with luggage. The paid airport shuttle can be arranged for pick-up and drop-off, but must be requested separately (not included in the reservation). Early check-in from 12:30 PM costs €25, subject to availability; earlier arrivals require booking the previous night. Pets are allowed on request with possible extra charges. The property is non-smoking throughout, and a fire extinguisher is provided.
