The hostal is situated in the real heart of Barcelona, directly on a quieter street just off Las Ramblas. Liceu Metro Station is a two-minute walk away, providing direct connections to Barcelona Sants and the airport via train or Aerobus. The Gothic Quarter, with its numerous cafés, bars, and restaurants, is a five-minute walk, and Barcelona Cathedral is 500 metres away. The Old Port (Port Vell) is ten minutes on foot, and the beach is a 20-minute walk. The immediate surrounding area includes a lively red-light district, which some may find less appealing, but many find the location safe and exceptionally convenient for exploring. The street itself is quiet at night, although rooms facing the road can experience noise from late-night activity and early-morning rubbish collection.

Rooms are compact but well laid out, featuring tiled floors, soundproof walls, and individual climate control with air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, telephone, safety deposit box, and free Wi-Fi. Private bathrooms have a shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms have a balcony, and some have views of a quiet interior courtyard. Room sizes vary significantly; some are notably small, especially twin or single rooms, while others are described as spacious and comfortable. A few rooms may have limited natural light if facing an internal courtyard. Beds can be configured as double or twin upon request (subject to availability). Electic kettles are available from reception; tea and coffee are not provided in the room.

For self-catering, small supermarkets are a few minutes away. Many nearby cafés and bakeries offer excellent breakfast options.
