The surrounding streets are lively with restaurants, bars, clubs, and a shisha bar, making this a prime area for evening entertainment. Public transport is strong: the S-Bahn to Warschauer Strasse is a recommended route, and major transport hubs like S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations are about 10-20 minutes on foot, giving direct access to central Berlin in under 30 minutes. The Uber Arena is a 15-minute walk, ideal for concert-goers. The location is excellent for exploring the alternative neighbourhood but is not in the very centre; Alexanderplatz is 3 km, Berlin TV Tower 4 km, and Museum Island 4 km away. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is roughly 40 minutes by public transport.

Accommodation options include private single, double, twin, and triple rooms, as well as 4-bed and 6-bed dormitories. All rooms feature high ceilings, heating, and a wardrobe, and many have an inner courtyard view. Private rooms are available with either private or shared bathrooms. Shared bathrooms are split by gender and include toilets and showers. Dormitories have individual lockers (bring your own padlock) and the room configurations vary: a 4-bed room may have two singles plus one bunk bed, while a 6-bed room is mixed except for a female-only 4-bed option. The rooms are spacious and bright, though furnishings are basic - no TV, fridge, or air conditioning. Some rooms have a desk and hooks. The property has no elevator, so upper-floor rooms (up to the 4th floor) require stair climbing. Bed quality is a mix of comfortable and hard; request an inner-courtyard room for quieter sleep.

The hostel does not have its own restaurant or kitchen. Breakfast is offered for an additional charge of 10 EUR per person and is provided at Café Demirel, located a short walk away. The breakfast is a continental-style option with limited choice (bread, pastries, one hot drink). No other on-site dining or snack facilities exist, though the area is packed with restaurants, bars, and food shops within a 0.5 km radius, including Asian, German, Mexican, and Middle Eastern options. There is a water boiler in the lobby for hot water and free tea provided at reception. The lack of a kitchen or fridge means bringing your own food is impractical; plan meals around the abundant nearby eateries.

There is no swimming pool, spa, or wellness centre at the property. Leisure facilities are limited to a shared lounge/TV area, a garden courtyard with outdoor furniture, and a terrace. Board games are available. The courtyard is a peaceful, leafy space to unwind.
