CREEKSTONE INN, Pigeon Forge

Located on both banks of the Little Pigeon River, the Creekstone Inn consists of two buildings: Building 1 (near the office, breakfast room, and pool) and Building 2 (across the creek, requiring a short drive for those amenities). The Pigeon Forge Fun Time Trolley stops at the hotel, providing easy access to the Parkway without driving. Dollywood's main entrance is less than five minutes away, and the adjacent Spur entrance provides quick access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg. Several restaurants-including Cracker Barrel, Captain Jim's Seafood Buffet, and Cielito Lindo-are within a 1 km walk. The quiet location away from the Parkway's main noise is a practical advantage for light sleepers.

Accommodation is split between two buildings. Building 1 offers a split design with two queen beds separated by a bathroom and vanity area, plus one TV on each side. Building 2 houses rooms with kitchenettes (refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, cookware) and two king beds. All rooms include a private balcony with rocking chairs, air conditioning, iron/ironing board, and a private bathroom. The bathrooms are noted for being compact but include a separate vanity sink area in queen rooms. Mattresses are Serta pillowtop; rooms generally feel clean but some are dated with worn carpets, peeling paint, and older fixtures. Noise from the campground across the creek and from neighboring balconies can occur. The split layout is a practical advantage for families or those wanting separate sleeping spaces.

The breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes (from a fresh pancake machine), biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cold cereal, tropical fruit salad, and a choice of orange/apple juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. The menu is consistent daily. The breakfast room is located in Building 1; guests staying in Building 2 must drive across the creek to access it. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but several dining options are within walking distance, including Cielito Lindo Mexican Grill (0.5 km) and Cracker Barrel (1 km). The hotel features vending machines for drinks and snacks on each floor.

The outdoor pool is located beside the office (Building 1) and is open daily (8 AM-10 PM, weather permitting). It is unheated, with a depth of 3-1.5 m, step and ladder entry, and no lifeguard. The pool area is cleaned every two hours. The hotel provides free inner tubes for use in the Little Pigeon River; users assume all risk and tubes must be returned by 10 PM. The river is also available for fishing (license required) and wading. A golf course is within a 3 km drive. There is no fitness center, spa, or hot tub on the property.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Parking is free and includes a two-level covered garage under Building 1, plus an additional lot across the street near the pool. The Rivers Landing Building has its own lot. Accessible parking is available but limited. Handicap-accessible rooms are located in the River Tower (Building 2) with roll-in shower and grab rails. The property has elevators in both buildings, a 24-hour front desk, safety deposit boxes (fee), and daily housekeeping (towel/trash service only). Full cleaning is available for $25/day. Express check-in/out is available. Laundry facilities are not provided. Cribs are not available, but a Pack 'n Play is offered for a minimal fee. No roll-away beds or cots are available.
