ITC Hotel is situated on the Prinsengracht canal, within walking distance of many major attractions: Rembrandtplein (5 min), Hermitage Museum (7 min), Heineken Experience (12 min), Museumplein (18 min), and Leidseplein (15 min). Tram 4 stops at the door and takes 10 minutes to Central Station or directly to Amsterdam RAI. The area is lively with numerous cafés, restaurants, and bars within 300 metres. The nearest metro station (Vijzelgracht, M52) is a 6-minute walk. Although the hotel is central, the immediate street is relatively quiet for Amsterdam.

Rooms vary in size and character: some are spacious with canal views, while others are compact or located in the basement with limited natural light. Triple rooms can be configured with three single beds or one double and two singles; family rooms sleep up to four. All rooms include a hairdryer, and an iron/board or kettle are available on request. There is no air conditioning, no mini-fridge (a communal hotel fridge is available), and no balcony. Soundproofing is limited, so street-facing rooms may experience tram noise, and interior rooms can hear movement from hallways. The building has steep stairs with no elevator, and some rooms are in an annex across the road. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included.

The hotel does not have its own dining facilities. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available on-site. For breakfast or meals, the surrounding area provides numerous options within 300 metres, including Meat&Greek, Rice & Spice Asian Deli, Pata Negra, Ku Kitchen & Bar, and Patisserie Kuyt. Guests often walk to nearby cafés for morning coffee or use the hotel's free lobby coffee (when available). The hotel can provide a kettle on request for in-room tea.
