CITY CENTRE MOTEL, Vancouver

The motel is situated on a busy main road, which provides straightforward access by car. The area around Olympic Village is reachable on foot in about 1 km. Several bus routes pass nearby, connecting to downtown and Stanley Park. A number of casual dining and coffee options are within a 0.5 km walk, including Nice Cafe, Cartems Donuts, and Gene Coffee Bar. The immediate surroundings include a 24-hour bus stop area that some may find less pleasant, but the motel's location remains practical for travellers relying on public transport or needing free on-site parking.

Each room includes air conditioning, heating, a direct dial telephone, and an AM/FM alarm clock. The private bathrooms feature a bath or shower, with towels provided. Rooms come with a dressing area and ironing facilities. The room size is small, especially when accommodating four people, and the overall condition is described as basic and aged, with worn furniture and old carpets. Noise from the busy main road and neighbouring rooms is common, particularly in rooms near the reception. For light sleepers, requesting a room away from the road and reception is advisable.

There is no restaurant, bar, or breakfast service at this motel. A vending machine is available for drinks. Given the lack of in-room coffee or tea facilities, guests need to plan their meals outside the property. The surrounding area offers several cafes and casual eateries within a 0.5 km walk, such as Nice Cafe, Cartems Donuts, and The Wallflower, which can serve as alternatives for breakfast or other meals.

The motel offers a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, luggage storage, a tour desk, and a vending machine for drinks. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property, though connection strength can be inconsistent in some rooms. Free public parking is available on site with no reservation needed. Security is provided 24 hours. Business services include fax and photocopying. There is no lift, so upper floors are accessed via stairs. The front desk can provide ice during office hours.
