DOMUSUMMA, Rome

DomuSumma is located in a calm, local neighbourhood away from the main tourist crowds. Ponte Lungo station on metro Line A is within a 4-minute walk, placing the Colosseum and city centre about 10-15 minutes away by metro. San Giovanni metro station is 1 km on foot, and Porta Maggiore is 2 km away. The same metro line connects to the regional train for direct service to Fiumicino Airport. Bus stops are also nearby, useful when the metro closes after 9 PM. A 24-hour supermarket and several affordable local restaurants are a short walk from the property.

Rooms are clean, well-maintained and recently renovated with modern furnishings. Each double room includes a private bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer, plus air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a tea and coffee maker, a dining table, refrigerator, microwave and wardrobe. The shared kitchen is equipped with cookware, utensils and free tea and coffee capsules. Room size is comfortable for one or two people. Noise insulation is good, and the building is generally quiet. The air-conditioning unit is the only heating source - winter warmth is limited, and the bathroom floor can become very cold.

Each morning, guests receive a ticket for a traditional Italian breakfast at a bar a few minutes' walk from the property - typically one coffee (cappuccino or espresso) and a croissant or pastry. For guests wanting a fuller meal, the café also sells fresh sandwiches and other items at very reasonable prices. The shared kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and utensils allows for self-prepared meals. A 24-hour supermarket is within a 4-minute walk, and several local restaurants are within 300-500 metres: Osteria del Cavaliere, Largo8 and Meridiem (each 0.5 km), and Hostaria Antica Saluzzo, Leone D'oro, and others at 0.5 km.
