The city centre, including Marienplatz, is about a 15-minute walk. The surrounding area is lively and multicultural, with a variety of international restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores within a few blocks. Street noise can be significant, especially from the front-facing rooms, and the neighbourhood has a busy, urban feel day and night.

Room sizes differ significantly: some rooms are described as quite small, while family and quadruple rooms provide more generous space. Standard furnishings include satellite TV, a minibar with a complimentary bottle of water, a direct-dial telephone, and parquet flooring. Private bathrooms are available, though in some rooms the shower cubicle and overall bathroom space are compact. There is no air conditioning, so windows are often opened, which can let in street noise - rooms at the back are noticeably quieter. The interior can feel dated in spots, and some rooms have limited storage or cabinet space. A lift serves most floors, though a few split-level areas require climbing a short stair flight.

The breakfast buffet runs from 6:00 to 10:00 and includes hot items such as scrambled eggs and sausages, a selection of fresh fruit, several breads and pastries, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurt, and cereal. Turkish tea and a coffee machine are available. The breakfast room can get busy, and the selection is consistent but may feel limited after several days.
