LAKETOWN WHARF, Panama City Beach

The beach is a 5-minute walk across the street via a private access point. The resort is located in the heart of the Spring Break activity zone, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and attractions. Within a 5-minute walk are Walmart, Waffle House, and a variety of dining options. The area is walkable for groceries, shopping, and entertainment, but the immediate beachfront can become crowded during peak seasons. Parking is in an attached garage, though the garage elevators are frequently out of service, requiring a walk to the main building. Public beach access 34 is nearby and can be used as a backup if the resort's wristband-controlled gate is slow or busy.

Units commonly feature a balcony with views of either the Gulf or the lagoon and lake. Kitchens include a full-sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, and dishware. Some units include a private patio, a dressing area, a dining table, sofa beds, and DVD players. Conditions vary significantly by owner: some units are newly renovated with modern appliances and comfortable furniture, while others are described as outdated, with broken sofa beds, stained furniture, uncomfortable mattresses, mold, and maintenance issues. Upper-floor units (20th floor and above) offer expansive ocean views but require reliance on the elevator which can have long wait times. Units facing the road or the internal driveway may experience noise from traffic and pedestrians. Air conditioning is available in all units, but some owners remotely control the thermostat, limiting adjustment.

On-site dining includes an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet (The Wharf Buffet), Juan Taco for Mexican, a pizza restaurant, a breakfast diner (with a noted steak biscuit deal), a sports bar, a coffee house on site, and a snack bar. A daiquiri shop and an apparel store are also within the resort. These businesses are seasonal; many close during winter months and only fully reopen once spring break season begins. Dining quality receives consistently positive feedback, particularly for the pizza place and the breakfast diner. The resort also operates a convenience store, minimarket, and vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Pools include a heated main pool (seasonal heat), a rooftop pool with views, a children's pool with a water slide and toys, a pool with a swim-up bar, and a fourth seasonal pool. All outdoor pools have sun loungers. The rooftop pool and children's pool are on the 10th and 4th floors respectively. Two hot tubs are available, with the one near the main pool often crowded. The fitness centre is free. Beach access is private and requires a wristband. A private beach area with sun loungers and umbrellas (free) is maintained across the street, though it is shared with neighbouring condos and Pineapple Willy's. The property has a garden, sun terrace, and picnic area.
