LEDA'S HOME, Rome

The apartment is located on the quieter outskirts of Rome, yet bus 409 stops just steps away and runs directly to Arco di Travertino metro station. From there, the city centre and major sights are easily reached. Several restaurants are within walking distance - including Il Pomo D'oro, A Rota Pizzeria Romanesca, and Casale del Buongustaio each about 0.5 km away - along with a supermarket for supplies. The area is peaceful, with a slight background train sound that does not disturb sleep. Having free private parking on-site makes this an especially practical base for anyone exploring Rome by car.

This air-conditioned holiday home features a separate living room, one bedroom with two comfortable beds, and a private bathroom with a bath or shower and hairdryer. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, kitchenware, electric kettle, and tea and coffee facilities - everything needed for self-catering. The terrace opens to garden views, and the living area offers a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a sitting area, a dressing area, and a dining table. A washing machine adds to the convenience. The unit is spacious, clean, and cosily furnished, with quality details such as a gramophone for atmosphere. The bed is widely appreciated for its comfort, and the entire space is quiet and suitable for families, with baby safety gates and cots available on request.

The holiday home's full kitchen - with stovetop, oven, fridge, and utensils - makes preparing meals easy, whether for a quick breakfast before heading out or a relaxed dinner in. The host often leaves welcome treats such as cake, wine, or basic breakfast supplies on late arrival, adding a thoughtful touch. For eating out, nearby restaurants include Il Pomo D'oro, A Rota Pizzeria Romanesca, Casale del Buongustaio, and Nuovo Tuscolo Ristorante, all within 0.5 km. A short walk also leads to a supermarket for groceries. The area offers enough variety to plan meals flexibly.

The apartment's own terrace and garden furniture offer a pleasant outdoor space for relaxing, dining, or letting children play. For active leisure, a billiards facility and a golf course are within 3 km, and a tennis court is available off-site. These options add variety for stays longer than a city break. The quiet residential setting also makes the immediate area suitable for walks and a slower pace.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Free private parking on site without reservation is a standout feature for Rome. The host offers private check-in/check-out and is consistently praised for warm, practical help - such as arranging airport taxis, recommending local sights, accommodating late arrivals, and even driving guests to the supermarket. Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and key access. Ironing and laundry services are available for an additional charge. The property is designated a non-smoking environment, with a designated smoking area outside.
