MARIA MONTREAL, Montreal

The apartment sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood with a bus stop on the corner and the metro a 20-minute walk away. Downtown Montreal is 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike. Nearby attractions include Mount Royal Park, Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, and an ice-skating rink. A variety of dining options are within a short walk, including Croissant Monkland, Ganges, East Africa, and several others 0.3-0.5 km away. Free off-site parking is available but cannot be reserved, making this property best suited for guests with a car who can arrive early, or those comfortable using public transport.

The unit is a spacious basement apartment with a private entrance. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, tea and coffee maker, washing machine, and essential utensils. The bathroom is large and recently renovated, with free toiletries, a hairdryer, and extra items such as chocolates/cookies. The bedroom is dark at night and provides a comfortable bed; the living area includes a dining table, sofa, wardrobe, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. A sofa bed can accommodate additional guests. Because the apartment is below ground level, it stays naturally cool, and there is no air conditioning. The hosts are discreet and live upstairs, but the floor is described as tiny in the owners' unit, and no children are present above. This accommodation is well suited for couples or solo travellers needing a clean, quiet, and practical base for exploring Montreal.

A fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, microwave, tea/coffee maker, and dining table makes it easy to prepare full meals. The property provides coffee with cream and basic pantry staples, and guests can shop for groceries nearby. A washing machine allows longer stays without wardrobe concerns. Several restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute walk, including Croissant Monkland (0.5 km), Ganges, and Cafe Art de Vivre sans gluten, offering options for dining out when preferred.
