MONS AUREUS RESORT, Rome

The property sits just outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone), making car access simple without city-centre restrictions. Tram line 8 and bus H both stop within 300 metres, providing direct connections to Piazza Venezia (35 minutes) and the Vatican (20 minutes). A large city park (Villa Pamphili) is directly adjacent, ideal for walks. The immediate neighbourhood includes a well-stocked Conad supermarket, cafes, and a fast-food option within 500 metres. For drivers, the free gated parking is a major practical advantage in Rome.

Two unit types are available: a one-bedroom with a double bed and single bathroom, and a two-bedroom with four beds and two bathrooms - both include a separate living room. Each apartment is equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher (in the larger unit), kitchenware, and a washing machine. Work desks, ironing facilities, and flat-screen satellite TVs are standard. The larger unit also offers a dedicated dining table and a private patio. Comfortable beds, quiet surroundings, and effective air conditioning create a restful environment, though the apartments have a functional rather than luxurious feel.

Each apartment includes a fully fitted kitchen with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and all essential cookware, allowing guests to prepare full meals. Several local restaurants are within walking distance: Ristorante Taste East (1 km), Ristorante Cousine (1 km), and Trattoria da Cesare al Casaletto (traditional Roman cuisine) are recommended. A Conad supermarket is within 500 metres for groceries. The location outside the ZTL means plenty of parking-friendly dining choices exist nearby.

The property features a pleasant garden and a sun terrace, which are relaxing spaces for reading or unwinding away from the city bustle. Table tennis is available for free, adding a casual leisure option. The adjacent Villa Pamphili park offers expansive green areas for jogging, walking, or picnicking. No swimming pool, spa or gym are present.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all rooms. Free private parking is a standout feature - secure, gated, and on-site without needing a reservation. Express check-in/out and a luggage storage area with lockers simplify arrival and departure logistics. The property also offers a paid airport shuttle and paid shuttle service for local transport. A paid cooking class is available for those interested. Security includes CCTV outside, a fire extinguisher, key access, and a security alarm. Business facilities are limited to paid fax/photocopying. The environment is smoke-free throughout, with a designated smoking area. Cots can be provided on request.
