The resort is a 30-minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. El Arco is 6 km away, and Lovers Beach is 6 km. The property's beach is rocky and not swimmable; the nearest swimmable beaches require a short drive or taxi. A free shuttle runs every two hours to the Marina and sister resort, giving access to downtown restaurants and bars. Taxis are available but cost more than Uber and do not quote prices upfront. The surrounding hills mean a golf cart is often needed to move around the resort - service is quick from the bell staff. Grocery and supply runs can be made to the Walmart Supermarket, a 10-minute drive away.

The Residences at Hacienda Encantada offers Californian-style villas with 1-3 bedrooms. Each unit features a full kitchenette with a dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, and cookware. Marble bathrooms have a bath, shower, double sinks, bathrobes, and free toiletries. Living areas include a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining table, and a terrace. Air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls, a washing machine, and a minibar are standard. Some units have a private balcony, fireplace, or private pool.
