HOTEL MATE DEPENDANCE, Vienna

The tram stop is directly in front of the hotel, providing a 15-minute ride to the historic centre. Walking takes about 30 minutes. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, with a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. For drivers, the hotel is about 20-25 minutes from Vienna International Airport. Paid parking at a partner hotel costs €15 per day, while street parking is limited and metered at €4 per hour.

Rooms are small and simply furnished, with parquet floors, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. Many rooms have a dressing area. Soundproofing is very poor - noise from adjoining rooms, the corridor, and street traffic is a common concern. Rooms facing the street are noisier. Heating works but can take a few hours to warm up the room; there is no air conditioning, so summer nights can be hot. Bathrooms are compact and have an old-fashioned feel. Some bathrooms have a bathtub. Pillows and mattresses are often described as thin or worn, so consider asking for extras at reception.

Breakfast is a continental buffet including bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, coffee, and juice. It is served at a partner hotel a 5-minute walk from the main building. The property has a bar and a lounge area where drinks and light snacks are available. Several restaurants, including Asian, Greek, and Italian options, are within a 5-minute walk.

Free Wi-Fi is accessible in the lobby and common areas only; there is no in-room Wi-Fi. A lift serves all floors. Luggage storage is available free of charge. The reception desk is staffed during typical hours. Paid parking is offered for €15 per day at a partner hotel 5 minutes away. Street parking is limited and metered (€4 per hour). A hairdryer can be borrowed from reception. The hotel does not have a business centre or meeting rooms.
