MRDOYLE APARTMENT CATALANI, Milan

The neighbourhood is well served by public transport: Lambrate Metro (Line 2) is a 13-minute walk, Centrale Metro and railway station is 2 km away, and Brera Art Gallery is 4 km. The metro connects directly to the Duomo in about six stops. The area has good walkability, with several restaurants and cafés within a short stroll - including Cheers Pub, Samori Caffè, and Sakura 2, all 0.5 km away. The building is located on a quiet inner courtyard, so road noise is minimal in the apartment itself. For airport transfers, using Central Station or the metro is more practical than driving, as no parking is available on site.

The apartment sleeps up to three guests across a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The living room includes a seating area, dining table, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, parquet floors, and air conditioning. The bedroom is quiet, overlooking the inner courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchenware, electric kettle, and a tea/coffee maker. The walk-in shower in the private bathroom is practical and spacious. For longer stays, the full kitchen and washing machine support a self-catering routine.

The kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all necessary cookware and utensils, making it ideal for preparing full meals. A starter breakfast kit with coffee capsules, tea, crackers, jam, and Nutella is available - a practical touch for the first morning. Several restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute walk, including a trattoria, a pub, and a sushi spot, offering alternatives for eating out. For grocery shopping, the kitchen's storage and appliances support longer self-catering stays.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the apartment. Check-in is fully automated via a smartphone app that opens the building entrance and apartment door - a stable internet connection is required. The host is responsive and easy to reach, providing clear instructions. Air conditioning keeps the apartment comfortable during warmer months. A safety deposit box and fire extinguishers add security. Family-friendly features include cots on request, and the property is non-smoking throughout. No parking is provided, but metro access is convenient. The apartment is well-suited for travellers arriving or departing by train, as Lambrate and Centrale stations are easily accessible.
