HOTEL ALBA, Milan

The hotel is on a main road with direct tram access to central Milan, ideal for car-free exploration. Milano Centrale railway station is about 20 minutes on foot, and several bus stops are nearby. The surrounding area is lively with affordable restaurants, bars, and cafes within 300 metres, convenient for meals. A paid shuttle service is available for airport transfers. Note that the street can be noisy, especially with trams passing, and there is no parking on site.

Rooms are private and come with comfortable beds, clean linen, and daily housekeeping. Some rooms feature a private shower and sink inside the room, while the toilet is always in a shared facility. The rooms have no air conditioning; during summer, heat and street noise from trams and traffic can make sleeping difficult. Windows are available but opening them increases noise. Soundproofing is limited; doors on some floors clap from drafts. A few rooms have a large terrace. The building has no lift, so rooms on upper floors require stairs. Free luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures.

The hotel does not provide breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A vending machine with drinks is available in the building. However, the immediate neighbourhood is filled with restaurants, bars, and cafes within 300 metres, offering a variety of cuisines and price points. For coffee or a quick meal, guests can easily walk to nearby spots like Il Campione or Moscow Mule Bar. The surrounding area is a practical solution for all meals.

The 24-hour reception can assist with late check-in (€10 supplement after 22:00), early check-in on request, and luggage storage at no extra cost. A paid shuttle service is available for airport or city transfers. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. A vending machine with drinks is on site. Parking is not available. Pets are allowed on request with applicable charges. The hotel has no air conditioning, and street and tram noise may affect light sleepers.
