Parking is free and generally easy, though non-balcony units do not have an assigned spot. Kahului Airport is 22 km away, and no shuttle service is offered - a rental car or taxi is needed.

Units range from one-bedroom apartments to two-bedroom, two-bathroom condos, each with a private entrance, air conditioning, and a well-fitted kitchen (stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, and coffee machine). Bed configurations vary, with some units accommodating up to 6 people. Select rooms include a balcony or patio with outdoor furniture, and the building layout ensures that every room enjoys an ocean view. Rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with flat-screen TVs, DVD and CD players, and iPod docks. Some units feature contemporary furniture and Hawaiian artwork. The property dates from the 70s/80s, so decor styles vary; some beds are older and may feel firm.

The 808 convenience store on the ground floor sells snacks, drinks, groceries, and basic supplies, and also operates a small snack bar. The full-service restaurant that previously operated on site is under renovation with no announced reopening date. A coffee shop is available on the property. For full meals, restaurants in Kihei (including a Foodland supermarket) and the upscale dining options in Wailea are a short drive or walk along the beach. BBQ facilities with outdoor picnic areas are available for guest use.

The outdoor swimming pool is open year-round and heated, with sun loungers and beach chairs available on the adjacent lawn. A fitness centre and a yoga studio are included at no extra charge. The beach in front of the property is consistently calm, with a reef and abundant marine life - ideal for snorkeling with turtles and fish. The on-site activity centre rents paddleboards, kayaks, boogie boards, and beach umbrellas. Bike hire is also available. The property does not have a spa.
