The hotel is in the best-rated area of Honolulu, approximately two blocks from the sand. Within a short walk are the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Centre, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and several bus stops including the Duke trolley. Honolulu International Airport is 16 km away. The area is very pedestrian-friendly, and many restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores are right outside or within 300 metres. The immediate vicinity includes food trucks and a busy commercial strip, which can create noise and cooking odours, especially for lower-floor rooms facing the alley.

Rooms are available with one king bed or two double beds. Each room includes a flat-screen TV with cable, a safety deposit box, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer city views or partial ocean views. The furniture is basic but functional, with a desk and a few hangers. Carpeted floors and a private bathroom with a shower are standard. The hotel is older, so some rooms show wear, and rooms closest to the food trucks can be affected by noise and smoke. Air conditioning is provided and works well. Hot water may take a while to reach the shower. Rooms on the 6th floor require climbing stairs after the elevator ends at the 5th floor.

No meals are available on site. Each room has a coffee maker, and the front desk can supply additional tea and coffee on request. Within 300 metres are options such as Ko Tiki Terrace, Eggs 'n Things, Jinroku Pacific, Ahi Bowl & Pot, Blue Water Shrimp & Seafood Market, The Lovin' Oven, Musubi Cafe IYASUME, and ShoreFyre Fresh Grill & Bar.
