Arnott's Lodge & Hiking Adventures is designed for travelers seeking a quality and affordable stay on the Big Island of Hawaii, 5 km from Hilo International. Arnott's Lodge is run by its founder - Doug Arnott, and Glory Arnott General Manager - and a small dedicated staff. The staff will send a confirmation notice containing information about the excursion, including meeting times, meeting location, and any preparations necessary. The staff are a mix of local natives from the Big Island, the neighbor islands, and from the mainland United States. Arnott's has provided transport for Keck and Subaru VIP's. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm-7:30am. The deposit amount depends on the type of room and ranges from $150-$350. Check-in is at 3:00 p.m., with the last check-in at 8:00 pm. Late check-out is available upon availability. No pets are allowed. All rooms are non-smoking. The public bus stops at the Hilo Airport as part of its Keaukaha route. Guests have full use of washer and dryer facilities, the TV area, and the open guest patio area. The lodge provides transport for both Keck and Subaru VIP's during construction of world class observatories.
