The apartment sits on Avenida de América in the Prosperidad neighbourhood, next to the upscale Salamanca district. The metro (lines 4 and 6) connects you directly to Gran Via, Sol, and Atocha in about 20 minutes. Bus 200 runs from the airport to a stop near the property. A wide selection of supermarkets (Lidl, Dia), bakeries, and casual restaurants are within a 3-minute walk. For drivers, paid street parking zones are available but limited; the property itself does not provide parking. The area is well-lit and considered safe even at night, with a small park right next door and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium 2 km away.

The unit is a ground-floor studio facing either the street or an interior courtyard. Street-facing units can experience noise, making courtyard-facing rooms the better choice for light sleepers. The apartment is recently renovated and spacious enough for up to 4 guests (double bed + sofa bed). The kitchen is fully stocked: oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, electric kettle, and espresso machine with complimentary capsules. The bathroom includes a large shower, hairdryer, and soap/shampoo dispensers. Air conditioning is efficient when filters are clean, and heating is excellent. Some units have a step right after the front door and only a large window with a sheer curtain to the street, which may affect privacy. Pillows can be large and divisive; the sofa bed is firm but comfortable. A travel cot is available upon request but must be confirmed in advance.

The studio kitchen is equipped for cooking full meals, with an oven, hob, dishwasher, and microwave. For immediate meals, there are eight different restaurants within a 3-minute walk, including local Spanish spots (Casa Emilio, El Chirivito) and a takeaway paella place (Paellamar Planet). A Lidl supermarket is a 2-minute walk for groceries. The property provides coffee capsules and a few sugar bags for arrival; no other starter condiments are provided. The dining setup is functional - a small table with chairs - and there are no proper wine glasses, only tumblers.

Internet access is free and works reliably in all areas. The host communicates exclusively through WhatsApp and phone calls. Check-in is fully automated with a door code system - no physical keys or staff on site. Luggage storage is not available at the property, but early bag drop is sometimes possible if arranged via WhatsApp. There is no on-site laundry service, but the apartment includes a washing machine for guest use. The building has no lift; the studio is on the ground floor with a step at the entrance. Ironing facilities are provided. A deposit of €150 is charged virtually a week before arrival and refunded post-stay.
