HOSTAL BERNABEU, Madrid

Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is within a 10-minute walk, making this a practical choice for match days or events. Chamartín Railway Station is 3 km away, and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 15 km from the property. The metro station (line 10) is about a 10-minute walk, and several bus stops serve the area, offering direct routes to Gran Vía (5 km) and Plaza Mayor (7 km). The neighbourhood is calm but well-equipped: supermarkets, several restaurants, and a pizzeria are within 300 metres, and the area is well-lit and walkable. For drivers, no parking is available on-site, so public transport or ride-hailing is recommended.

Rooms are small and practical - a bed, wardrobe, and a modern private bathroom with a shower. Each room has a flat-screen TV, heating, and free toiletries. The twin room offers two single beds, while the double has one double bed. Rooms are recently refurbished with clean, modern bathrooms and comfortable mattresses. However, the rooms are very compact: there is limited floor space for luggage, no desk or chair, and no bedside lamps. Soundproofing is minimal - thin internal walls and doors mean noise from the corridor and neighbouring rooms can be heard. For quieter stays, rooms away from the ground-floor entrance and common area (which contains a microwave) are preferable. The centralized air conditioning and heating system cannot be adjusted per room; the temperature is set for the whole building.

The hostal does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast option. A common area provides a microwave for guest use. Several dining options are within 300 metres: Pasteleria Venecia (bakery), Pizzeria Vivace, Restaurante Volcanes, and others. Supermarkets are also nearby for self-catering. For those wanting a more extensive meal, the metro quickly reaches central Madrid's full range of restaurants.

WiFi is free and available in all areas. A 24-hour front desk operates remotely - communication is via WhatsApp, with a fast response time. Check-in is self-service using codes provided before arrival, and luggage storage before check-in or after check-out is generally possible if requested. The property has a tour desk (remote), and expresses check-in/out is available. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms. Pets are allowed with possible additional charges. No parking is available on site. There is no lift; rooms are on ground and upper floors via stairs.
