The apartment sits on Grünerløkka's main street, with a tram stop immediately outside providing frequent connections to Oslo Central Station, the city centre, and the Munch Museum. The area is packed with shops, bakeries, restaurants, and bars-all within a 5-10 minute walk. The Botanical Garden is 1 km away, and Oslo Spektrum Music Arena is 2 km. On-street parking is very limited and mostly permit-only; paid garages are available within a 1 km radius. The neighbourhood is central enough for walking to most landmarks, though the tram is ideal for longer journeys.

Apartments range from studios to two-bedroom units, all featuring parquet flooring, a seating area, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, kettle, and kitchenware. A washing machine and a hairdryer are standard. Many units include a loft bedroom accessed by steep, narrow stairs-a design that can be difficult for those with mobility concerns, children, or heavy luggage. Some apartments span three levels, with the only toilet on the ground floor and the main sleeping area on the highest level. Sofa beds in the living area are often described as uncomfortable and noisy, and storage space is limited (no wardrobe or hangers). Rooms may become very hot in summer, as there is no air conditioning; opening windows is possible but can introduce street noise from the trams and late-night bars.

There is no gym, pool, or spa on the property. For relaxation, guests can walk to nearby parks, such as the Botanical Garden (1 km), and the neighbourhood has several green spaces. Ice skating and boating are available in the surrounding area during respective seasons.
