MAYA APARTMENTS - SOLLI PLASS, Oslo

The property is directly across from the Nationaltheatret station (H. Ibsen exit), which provides a direct train to Oslo Airport in about 25 minutes. The Royal Palace is a 6-minute stroll, Akershus Fortress is 18 minutes on foot, and the city centre, waterfront, and National Museum are all within 5-15 minutes walking. Frogner Park and Vigeland Sculpture Park are about 25 minutes away on foot. A Kiwi supermarket is a 2-minute walk, and numerous cafés and restaurants are within a 2-5 minute radius. The location is quiet enough for sleeping yet central for accessing all major sights. Trams, buses, and metro lines are steps away, so a car is unnecessary.

There are no fitness, spa, or pool facilities on site. The neighbourhood compensates with excellent walking access to green spaces: the Royal Palace gardens are a 6-minute stroll, and Frogner Park with the Vigeland Sculpture Park is about 25 minutes away on foot. The waterfront at Aker Brygge is reachable in 10-15 minutes, offering promenades and ferry access. For sports and entertainment, the Oslo Spektrum arena is 5 km away. The location is ideal for guests who prefer city walks and parks over on-site leisure amenities.

The property operates with no on-site staff; all communication is via phone or messaging. The lift serves upper floors but is sometimes out of order. WiFi is free and generally reliable, though some lower-floor apartments report weaker signals. Safety features include smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and CCTV in common areas. Housekeeping is only provided for stays longer than one week, and guests are expected to start the dishwasher and take out rubbish before departure. Towels and bed linen are provided, but extras such as bathmats or kitchen cloths may not be supplied. The PIN codes for the building entrance and apartment door are the same, which may raise privacy concerns for some.
