The hostel is located in a quiet residential street in Willesden, about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest Underground station and bus stops. Public transport includes night buses, and connections reach central London and Wembley within about 50 minutes. The area has a supermarket about ten minutes away, and several good restaurants, including Beer + Burger, The Queensbury, and Ruhits Indian Cuisine, are within 1 km. The area is not recommended for solitary nighttime walking. Heathrow Airport is 23 km away.

Private rooms (double and twin) are compact and basic. Each room includes a small fridge, an electric kettle, and a TV, but there are no bins, no accessible power sockets near the bed, and very limited storage. Shared bathrooms - small, often dirty, with mouldy curtains and a persistent lack of soap and toilet paper - are located on the ground and first floors; rooms on the third floor require walking down at least two flights. The building has poor soundproofing: rooms next to the kitchen or common areas experience loud noise from people cooking, talking, and doors slamming from early morning until late at night. Windows do not seal well, letting in cold draughts and cigarette smoke, and there is no effective ventilation or air conditioning, making summer nights very uncomfortable. Insects, including cockroaches, have been reported in rooms and common areas, and bedding may not be freshly laundered on arrival.

The garden is a pleasant, spacious area with seating, frequented by squirrels. It closes at 7 pm, limiting evening use. The indoor shared lounge has a TV and seating, and is a comfortable space to socialise or watch a film. No wellness facilities such as a pool, spa, or gym are available.

The hostel features a large shared kitchen, dining area, lounge/TV room, garden, and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer (operated via app). Secure storage is available with coded lockers. Self check-in is straightforward, but staff are rarely on site - they come only in the morning for cleaning and basic oversight. Response to messages or calls is often very poor or non-existent, especially for issues like locker codes, broken showers, or late arrivals. The WiFi, advertised as free throughout, frequently fails to work in rooms and sometimes has not functioned for weeks. Payment is accepted by major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Maestro) and cash. Pets and smoking are not permitted anywhere on the property.
