Many restaurants, bakeries, and cafés are clustered within a few blocks. The area is considered safe and less touristy than central arrondissements, with a local market in the square every week.

The ground-floor restaurant Mangeaver serves innovative French cuisine under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Michel Portos, open for lunch and dinner. Also on site is Mille Grazie, offering Italian and European dishes with vegetarian options, open daily for lunch, dinner, and cocktails. The breakfast tray is served in the restaurant or can be taken to go. A number of bakeries, cafés, and bistros are within a very short walk on Boulevard Pasteur.
