The hotel sits on Rue Monge in the vibrant 5th arrondissement. The Jardin des Plantes and the Panthéon are a 5-minute walk away; Notre-Dame, the Luxembourg Gardens and the Saint-Germain boulevards are reachable in 15 minutes on foot. Place Monge Metro (line 7) is 140 metres away, giving direct access to Châtelet and the Louvre; Cardinal Lemoine (line 10) is 180 metres distant. Buses 47, 82, 84 and 85 stop nearby. From CDG or Orly, take RER B to Châtelet or Saint-Michel then Metro line 7 - the total journey takes about one hour. Gare d'Austerlitz is a 5-minute Metro ride away. The immediate neighbourhood has a Carrefour supermarket, pharmacies and numerous restaurants and cafés on Rue Mouffetard.

Single rooms measure 11-12 m2. Double, twin and triple rooms offer views of either the Arènes de Lutèce courtyard or Rue Monge, but road-facing rooms can be noisy. Rooms facing the arena are markedly quieter. Rooms are small: double and twin rooms have limited floor space and minimal wardrobe or drawer storage. Twin rooms have a bathtub; many double and triple rooms have a shower. Some bathrooms are split, with the toilet in a separate tiny room. The bathtubs are high, short and lack a shower curtain, making showering awkward. Bed sizes are compact, and some mattresses are old and soft. Air conditioning is available but is centrally controlled and only runs during summer. Cots can be provided on request. All rooms are carpeted and accessible by lift.

Breakfast is offered as a buffet (12.50 EUR per person) or an express option (7.50 EUR per person). The buffet includes fresh bread, viennoiseries, spreads, butter, yoghurt, cheeses, charcuterie, fruit salad, compotes and scrambled or fried eggs. Drinks include fresh fruit juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Service runs from 07:00 to 10:00. The breakfast room is in the basement with little natural light and can feel cramped. Highchairs are available for children. There is a bar on-site for drinks, but no full restaurant. The surrounding Latin Quarter streets offer dozens of cafés, boulangeries and bistros within a 3-minute walk.

The 24-hour reception team speaks English, Spanish and Turkish and can arrange airport transfers by car or van (price depends on airport). Daily housekeeping changes towels and makes beds. Laundry service is not mentioned; no kettle or coffee maker is provided in rooms (a shared machine is in reception). Business facilities include a free business centre and paid fax/photocopying. The lift serves all floors but is narrow and frequently breaks down. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible rooms with a lower sink, raised toilet and grab rails.
