Located in the vibrant West End, a 10-minute walk from Sunset Beach and Robson Street, with Yaletown-Roundhouse SkyTrain station 1 km away.
The hostel sits in the heart of Vancouver's West End, surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops within a 5-minute walk. Canada Place is a 30-minute walk or 10-minute taxi ride. Granville Island ferry dock is 10 minutes on foot. Stanley Park is walkable in about 20 minutes. A bus stop nearby (routes 6, 23, 44) connects to the SkyTrain station for a 20-minute ride to Vancouver International Airport. The neighborhood is safe and quiet at night, ideal for solo travellers.

Accommodation

Mixed and female-only dormitories with 4-8 beds, plus a limited number of private double rooms, all with shared bathrooms.
Rooms are basic and compact, especially in 4-bed configurations. Each dorm bed has a personal reading light, power outlet, and a storage locker beneath the bed (bring your own lock). A sink is provided inside the room, which is useful for quick freshening up. There are no privacy curtains on bunks - think open-plan layout. Heating is automatic and sometimes insufficient in cooler months; fans are available for warmer periods, but noise from hallway doors and movement between bunks can be an issue. Rooms are on upper floors, accessible by lift.

Dining

Free continental breakfast from 7:00 to 9:00 AM. No on-site restaurant, but a fully equipped shared kitchen is available for self-catering.
Breakfast includes bread, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit (often fruit salad), coffee, tea, and oat milk. It is served in a dedicated dining area that can become crowded during peak hours. The kitchen is modern and spacious, with large refrigerators, cooktops, and ample storage for personal food. Numerous restaurants - Thai, Vietnamese, pizza, and pub food - are within a 3-minute walk. Since breakfast ends at 9:00 AM, early risers are best served.

Wellness and Leisure

A rooftop patio, games room (pool table, board games), and a library provide spaces to relax and socialize.
The rooftop terrace and shared lounge offer outdoor and indoor seating for mingling. The hostel organizes daily activities including free walking tours, pub crawls (free), movie nights (free), bingo, and bike tours (fee). Nearby leisure includes Sunset Beach (10-min walk) and Stanley Park (20-min walk). There is no pool, spa, or gym on site.
