The hotel sits in the heart of the city, within a few minutes' walk of Sauchiehall Street and its many bars, restaurants, and shops. Buchanan Street Bus Station is a 4-minute walk away, providing a regular shuttle bus to Glasgow Airport (15 km, 15 minutes by car). Glasgow Queen Street Station is a 12-minute walk, and Glasgow Central Station is also within walking distance. The SSE Hydro is a 30-minute walk or 10-minute taxi ride. Hampden Park is about an hour on foot, or quicker by train from Central Station. The area has plenty of cafés, takeaways, and a supermarket nearby, making it easy to access essentials.

The hotel offers double and twin rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms (walk-in showers only, no baths). Some rooms have city views from a sealed window, while others are windowless and rely on air conditioning for ventilation. Rooms are extremely compact - typically just space for the bed with minimal storage: no wardrobe or shelves, only a small cubby under the bed for a suitcase. There are no tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, or ironing board in the room (hairdryers available from reception). The bathroom is very small, comparable to an aeroplane lavatory, with the shower over the toilet area. Beds are firm with thin pillows. Soundproofing is present, but noise transfer from adjacent rooms can occur. The air conditioning unit, when running, can be audible. For those sensitive to confined spaces or needing natural light, a room with a window is strongly recommended.

No meals or breakfast are available on site. A vending machine in the lobby provides hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) and snacks at a charge (around £2 per cup). The surrounding streets are filled with cafés, restaurants, takeaways, and a chippy within a few minutes' walk, including The Bucket List, Mamak, and Azzurro. For a fuller breakfast or lunch, the city centre location makes it easy to eat out. No room service is provided.

WiFi is free in all areas. The reception is staffed 24/7 and can store luggage for £5 per bag. Daily housekeeping is available for an additional charge. Hairdryers can be borrowed from reception. There are vending machines for drinks and snacks. Parking is not on site, but a discounted rate is available at Cambridge Street Car Park directly opposite - have your ticket stamped at reception for a capped rate of £15 for 24 hours (usually £29.99). The lift provides access to all floors, but can intermittently be out of service.
