ABBEY HOTEL, London

The hotel is positioned 4 km from Lord's Cricket Ground and 5 km from Portobello Road Market, with London Zoo and Camden Market within easy reach. London City Airport is 21 km away. Tube stations are a short walk, making central London accessible by public transport. The immediate area offers a range of dining options: Vijay (0.5 km), May's Chinese Cuisine (0.5 km), Spicey Basil (0.5 km), and other restaurants within 0.5 km. The surrounding streets are residential; the building is part of a larger mixed-use property, so street parking is limited. For airport transfers, using the tube from a nearby station is the most practical option.

Accommodation options include double, twin, triple, quadruple, and family rooms, all with private bathrooms featuring a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Each room has a private entrance, soundproof walls, a minibar, electric kettle, toaster, ironing facilities, wardrobe, and flat-screen TV with streaming services. Family rooms offer interconnected spaces for added privacy. The rooms are compact and basic; windows are present but some may not close fully, particularly in older units. Heating is available but has been reported to be unreliable in colder months, and the property may not respond promptly to maintenance requests. Light sleepers should be aware that noise from neighbouring flats can be an issue. Bedding and towels are provided but may show signs of wear.

The hotel does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast offering. Each room is stocked with a complimentary minibar (soft drinks and water) and snacks upon arrival, plus tea/coffee making facilities with an electric kettle. There is no other dining facility on the property. For meals, several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including May's Chinese Cuisine (0.5 km), Spicey Basil (0.5 km), and The Black Lion pub (0.5 km). A toaster is provided in the room for simple self-prepared food.
