ACCESS LITTLE VENICE, London

The apartment is a 7-10 minute walk from the Bakerloo Tube line, offering direct access to central London in around 20 minutes. Paddington Station (with Heathrow Express and Elizabeth line services) is 2 km away, and London City Airport is 20 km from the property. Local shops, supermarkets, a 24-hour mini-market, and several pubs (including the historic Prince Alfred) are within a 5-minute walk. Portobello Road Market (3 km) and Madame Tussauds (3 km) are easily reachable by public transport. The neighbourhood is safe and family-friendly, with flat, walkable streets. For short trips, boating on the nearby canals and walking to Little Venice are local highlights.

The apartments are available in 2-bedroom (sleeps 4) and 3-bedroom (sleeps 6) configurations, with 1-2 bathrooms. Each unit contains at least one living room, a separate dining area, and a kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and washing machine. Bedrooms have parquet or laminate floors, while hallways and some rooms may have carpet. Heating, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing equipment, a flat-screen TV, and a safety deposit box are standard. The apartments feel bright and spacious, with large windows that face either the street or a private courtyard garden. Street-facing ground-floor units are more exposed to outside noise, while rear-facing units are notably quieter. Air conditioning is not available; fans are provided but may struggle during heatwaves. Mattresses and bedding vary in condition and some older mattresses have been reported as worn. For more consistent comfort and quieter sleep, book a higher-floor or rear-facing apartment.

The apartment kitchen is fitted with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, kettle, and basic cookware and utensils. There is no in-house dining facility, cafe, or breakfast option, so all meals must be prepared or sourced locally. Within a 5-minute radius, there are several dining options: Prince Alfred & Formosa Dining Room (0.5 km), Red Pepper (0.5 km), E Bar (0.5 km), Toast Coffee and Bakery (0.5 km), and The Waterway (0.5 km). A 24-hour mini-market and a larger supermarket are also within walking distance, making it easy to stock the kitchen. Nearby pubs such as The Hero of Maida and The Colonnade London offer traditional pub meals and drinks.

There is no pool, spa, gym, sauna, or other on-site leisure facility at the property. The surrounding Maida Vale and Little Venice area offers excellent outdoor leisure: the Regent's Canal towpath is perfect for walking or jogging, with cafés and pubs along the water. Boating is a popular local activity, and Paddington Basin is a 10-minute walk away. A park with free sports courts is within a few minutes' walk, and Lord's Cricket Ground (17 minutes' walk) provides sporting events during summer.

The property offers self-check-in via a key box, with no reception desk. A lift is available but may occasionally be out of service, so guests with mobility needs or heavy luggage should plan accordingly. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. The building has a safety deposit box, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and non-smoking policies throughout. No luggage storage is provided, so check-in at 16:00 and check-out at 10:30 should be respected to avoid carrying bags. Housekeeping is not daily - cleaning visits may occur without prior notice, and no cleaning supplies (broom, vacuum) are left in the apartment. Lockers are available for small items. Accepted payments: American Express, Visa, MasterCard. Communication with the host can be slow during the stay; it is advisable to clarify all critical questions before arrival.
