ADONIS LYON DOCK OUEST, Lyon

The property is a 10-15 minute walk from the Vaise metro station (Line D), which reaches Vieux Lyon in just three stops. Bus line 31 also stops nearby. For cyclists, bike rental stations are located right outside, and the cycle path into the city centre is convenient. The hotel is surrounded by a cinema, several restaurants (French, Italian, Asian, fast food), and a supermarket within a few minutes' walk. The famous Brasserie de l'Ouest by Paul Bocuse is only 200 m away. Gare de Vaise train station is 1 km from the hotel. Parking in the area can be challenging, but the hotel's own underground garage provides secure, direct access via the lift.

Rooms vary in size. The larger apartments (e.g. 19 m2 double) feature a 160 cm double bed, a desk area, a separate toilet, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and dining table. Twin rooms offer two single beds and some have a balcony. All rooms include a flat-screen TV with Canal+ channels, soundproofed windows, heating, and parquet flooring. Some double beds are two single mattresses pushed together - if this matters for comfort, it is worth specifying a preference. Rooms on higher floors tend to be quieter and may have panoramic views. The kitchenette is equipped with basic utensils; some visitors have noted that crockery and cutlery can be incomplete. Daily housekeeping is available on request but may not be performed if a pet is present in the room.

The buffet includes bread, pastries, hot drinks, scrambled eggs, and sausages. Selection is described as basic continental - for a wider variety, several cafés and bakeries are within a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel has no restaurant, but the immediate area offers numerous dining choices: Brasserie de l'Ouest (200 m), Ninkasi Vaise, Le Comptoir de l'Industrie, and an Italian restaurant among others. A McDonald's is directly opposite, and a launderette is across the street. For self-catering, each room's kitchenette allows basic meal preparation.

Wellness facilities are absent on site. For leisure, the hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Vaise cinema. The surrounding neighbourhood offers pleasant riverside walking routes and a cycle path to the city centre. Bike rental is available directly outside the property.

Parking costs €15 per day and cannot be reserved; the garage is secure with direct lift access. Luggage can be stored free of charge during reception hours (07:30-12:00 and 15:00-20:00). The hotel offers 24-hour security, CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms. Wheelchair access is provided via a lift and adapted rooms with grab rails and lower sinks. Pets are welcome for an additional €12 per night. Daily housekeeping is available for an extra fee. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.
