By car, Siena is a 6-15 minute drive, and the location also serves as a base for exploring Tuscan hill towns like Florence, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, as well as thermal baths at Rapolano Terme and Bagni San Filippo. The surrounding countryside features olive groves, vineyards, and cycle routes on the Eroica trail. Good restaurants are within a 10-minute drive.

Room options include studios with a small kitchenette and larger apartments that can sleep up to six people, often with one bedroom downstairs and an attic room or mezzanine upstairs.
