ALOJAMIENTO REGINA, Malaga

The apartment is within a 12-minute walk of Jorge Rando Museum and 1 km from the Picasso Museum. La Malagueta Beach is 3 km away, the Port of Malaga 3 km, and Gibralfaro Viewpoint 4 km. Numerous dining options - including Cafeteria Navarro, Marisqueria Pelayo and Freiduria Los Yayos - are within a 5-minute walk. The immediate area is considered less tranquil: street noise from neighbours, children playing and motorbikes can continue until early morning, making it a poor location for those requiring quiet hours before 3 am.

The apartment sleeps up to 4 people across one double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is a thin mattress on a fold-out frame, not comfortable for more than a couple of nights and leaves little floor space when open. Air conditioning, heating, soundproofed walls (which do not block neighbour noise from the building), a flat-screen TV and a washing machine are provided. The bathroom is private but cleanliness has been inconsistent - some have found the bathroom not clean on arrival. Room surfaces and linens have also been reported with cleanliness issues, including stained walls, odorous towels and, in isolated cases, signs of pests. The ground-floor apartment has barred windows, limiting natural light. The advertised city view is accurate but partially obstructed.

Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Private check-in and check-out are offered, but in practice the check-in time (14:00) is strictly enforced and the owner can be slow to respond to messages or provide a clear key-handoff solution. Full-day security is provided, along with CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. No on-site laundry service is available (the washing machine is in-room). Luggage storage is not a guaranteed free service and has been charged in the past. Pets are allowed on request with possible charges.
