AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN LAS VEGAS STRIP, Las Vegas

The location is the strongest asset of this property, sitting less than 800 metres from the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip at MGM Grand. The monorail station at MGM is across the street, providing quick access to the rest of the Strip and the convention centre. McCarran International Airport is approximately 3 km away - a 5-minute drive or a practical walk for early flights. A 24-hour Coco's diner, a liquor store, and several quick-service restaurants are within the same parking lot. While the immediate area has a budget-motel atmosphere with occasional homeless presence around nearby businesses, a night security patrol is present. For most guests, the pedestrian route to the Strip is safe and well-lit, though those arriving after dark from the Strip may prefer the short drive or a rideshare.

The rooms are compact - often just large enough for two double beds with minimal walking space between them. Standard furnishings include a small table with one chair, a wardrobe, and an older tube-style television. Bedding is typically two double beds per room; some guests find the mattresses comfortable while others note that the beds are soft or lumpy. The bathrooms are noted as clean but with dated fixtures, and some rooms have mould or mildew issues in the shower. Air conditioning and heating units are functional, but can be very noisy - some are described as loud enough to disrupt sleep. Rooms on ground floor near the pool or parking lot can experience more noise from foot traffic, security patrol, and neighbouring guests. Daily housekeeping includes fresh towels and beds made. There are no in-room safes, microwaves, refrigerators, or hairdryers. The property has no elevators, so upper-floor rooms require stairs. Bed sizes are double, not queen, and the rooms are best suited for one or two people who plan to spend minimal time in the room.

A seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a separate hot tub/jacuzzi are available to all guests at no extra charge and are open year-round. The pool area provides a pleasant space to cool off and relax after a day on the Strip, and is noted as being kept reasonably clean. There is no gym, sauna, or full-service spa on site. For guests seeking more extensive leisure options, the abundance of pools, spas, and entertainment at the nearby Strip casinos is a short walk or drive away.
