ANTARA APARTMENTS BY VH, Mexico City

The location is a major strength. The apartments sit in the Polanco area, directly across from Plaza Antara, with numerous dining options within a 5-minute walk: Splendido, Moliere 321, Hooters, Tictac Cafeteria, and Odeon, plus Moshi Moshi Antara (0.5 km) and Embers Steakhouse (1 km). The National Museum of Anthropology is 3 km away, Chapultepec Castle is 4 km away. For airport access, the drive is about 16 km to Benito Juarez; using the on-site parking or a ride-share is practical. The area is considered safe and walkable, with a convenience store on the same block and a park within walking distance. The street-facing apartments can be noisy due to traffic; rooms facing the interior are significantly quieter.

The apartments range from one-bedroom to four-bedroom configurations, all with private entrances. Each includes a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, kitchenware, coffee machine) and a washing machine. The larger apartments feature multiple bathrooms, a dining area, a living room, and walk-in closets. Balconies with city views are standard. Beds are comfortable, and the main rooms are spacious. However, the apartment condition and cleanliness can vary: some units have had issues with dirty sofas, stained linens, dirty floors, broken windows, mold in bathrooms, and sewer odors. The street-facing rooms, especially on lower floors, can be very noisy from traffic. Interior bedrooms are quieter. The ground-floor bedroom in some units is reported as uncomfortable for sleeping. The apartment shown in photos may not match the actual unit received.

The apartments do not offer a breakfast service or an on-site restaurant. Each unit has a kitchenette or full kitchen with cookware, a microwave, an oven, and a coffee machine, enabling self-catering. There is a convenience store on the same block for supplies. For dining out, the immediate area features many restaurants: Splendido, Moliere 321, Hooters, Tictac Cafeteria, and Odeon are all within 0.5 km, plus Moshi Moshi Antara at 0.5 km and Embers Steakhouse at 1 km. Plaza Antara, across the street, has additional dining and shopping. This setup is ideal for groups or families who prefer cooking some meals while also having walkable restaurant variety.

The property provides access to a fitness centre at no additional cost. No other wellness facilities such as a pool, spa, or sauna are available. The location compensates with leisure options: the Soumaya Museum is an 8-minute walk, and parks, the National Museum of Anthropology, and Chapultepec Castle are a short drive or metro away. The apartments' balconies with city views add a relaxing element within the unit.
