ANZOLO PALACE - ROOMS & APARTMENTS, Venice

The location is exceptionally central, with Basilica San Marco 200 metres away and Rialto Bridge a six-minute walk. Venice Santa Lucia Train Station is 2 km off, reachable on foot in about 30 minutes or via a short vaporetto ride from San Marco. The Alilaguna water-bus from the airport stops at San Marco, offering a level route without stairs for luggage. The surrounding alleyways are bustling with restaurants, bars and gelaterias, yet the street itself is relatively quiet. Nearby attractions include Ca' d'Oro and La Fenice Theatre. Boating and gondola rides are available directly outside the building.

Each unit features a private bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer, as well as a desk, seating area and tea and coffee maker. Kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, kitchenware and an electric kettle; some units include a dining table. Beds vary - double rooms offer one queen bed or one double plus a futon, while studios and apartments have a combination of double and single bedding. All rooms face a quiet inner street, reducing external noise. Comfort and cleanliness vary by room: some are described as spacious and well-maintained, while others show wear - cracked tiles, mould in bathrooms, worn mattresses and limited electrical sockets. The property has no lift and some rooms are on upper floors.

The property does not operate a restaurant or offers breakfast. Each room has a coffee machine with pods, a kettle and a small refrigerator, allowing guests to prepare their own breakfast. Several restaurants, pizzerias and a supermarket (Coop) are within a two-minute walk, including Ristorante Da Stefano, Pizzeria Birreria Barbanera and Rossopomodoro Venezia, all roughly 300 metres away. For those preferring a fuller cooked meal, the surrounding area offers a wide variety of Italian dining options suitable for lunch and dinner.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Luggage storage is provided at no charge both before check-in and after check-out, allowing guests to explore the city without their bags. A paid airport shuttle service can be arranged for pick-up or drop-off. Check-in operates via a self-service code system, with instructions sent by WhatsApp, enabling late arrivals without a physical reception. The reception staff speak English, Spanish, French and Italian. Safety features include fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and key access. No on-site parking is available, so all travel within Venice is on foot or by water transport. The property is non-smoking throughout and air conditioning is included.
