APARTMENTS NORA, Vienna

The apartment lies in a quiet, safe area with easy access to the city centre via public transport. Vienna Prater is 13 minutes on foot, and Kunst Haus Wien is 2 km away. St. Peter's Catholic Church and St. Stephen's Cathedral are each 2 km away. Vienna International Airport is 19 km distant. A tram stop and several bus routes are within walking distance, making car-free city exploration straightforward. The area is also practical for budget travellers needing quick access to supermarkets and commercial services. The building can be hard to locate without directions, so noting the nearby shop for key collection is advisable.

The apartment consists of one bedroom, one bathroom, and a kitchen. The layout can feel cramped for groups, especially when the dining area provides limited seating relative to the number of beds. The kitchen is practical for self-catering - it includes a kettle, hairdryer, iron, and basic utensils - but some previous users found it necessary to wash utensils before use. The bathroom is private and functional, though the shower is tight and the overall interior is dated. The unit offers either 4 or 7 beds depending on the configuration. Sound insulation is minimal, meaning noise from neighbours can be heard. The apartment's compact size and worn furniture make it most suitable for travellers who spend little time indoors and prioritise budget over space or modernity.

The apartment's fully equipped kitchen includes a kettle, stove, utensils, and storage for food, enabling guests to prepare their own meals and reduce dining costs. Several nearby dining options are available within a short walk: Gasthaus Automat Welt, Waffelwerkstatt, and Nelke are 0.5 km away; Pizza Prego, Mostlandl, Simchas, and Ristorante Va Bene are 0.5 km away. For budget travellers, the combination of self-catering and quick access to affordable restaurants provides flexibility without relying on a hotel restaurant.

Wi-Fi is free but limited to public areas of the building, not inside the apartment. No parking is available, so public transport is recommended for all journeys. Check-in is at 14:00 with key collection from a nearby shop - no reception exists on site, so timely communication with the host by message is essential. The host speaks German, English, and Polish and is responsive to requests such as turning on heating or providing directions. No luggage storage is available. The property is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed. An ice-skating rink and boating are available in the surrounding area for leisure.
