APPARTAMENTO GOLDONI, Venice

The apartment is located on a quieter street within the heart of Venice, yet St. Mark's Square, Doge's Palace, and the Rialto Bridge are all reachable within 5-10 minutes on foot. The nearest water-bus stop is a 5-minute walk, providing connections across the canals and to Venice Marco Polo Airport (18 km away). A supermarket is directly across the street, and a pasta takeaway is downstairs, making daily errands and meals very convenient. The area is safe and well-lit, with numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops just steps away. While the apartment is extremely central, the soundproofed windows keep the interior quiet despite the lively surroundings.

There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but the kitchen is stocked with all cookware, utensils, and even basic pantry items like herbs, spices, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. A supermarket is right across the road for fresh groceries, and a pasta takeaway operates directly below the apartment. Within a 0.5 km radius, there are seven dining options including Trattoria Da Gigi, Da Carletto, and Rossopomodoro Venezia, offering a wide variety of Italian cuisine. The location makes it easy to eat in or out depending on preference, and the full kitchen is especially convenient for families or those wanting a budget-friendly stay.

The apartment does not include a spa, pool, or gym, but its central position means all of Venice's attractions are walkable-St. Mark's Square in 4 minutes, Rialto Bridge in 5, and Doge's Palace close by. Boating is available in the surroundings, and the nearest water-bus stop is a 5-minute walk for exploring the islands of Murano and Burano. The apartment's comfort and quietness make it a relaxing base after a day of sightseeing.

WiFi is free throughout the property. The host provides an invoice upon request and offers practical flexibility: luggage storage is available from 11:30 AM before check-in, and early check-out is possible by leaving keys on the table. The apartment is accessed with a key, and it feels secure. There is no lift, so guests must manage stairs. Cots are available for families. No parking is provided, which is standard for central Venice. The host is responsive and helpful, often meeting guests to guide them to the apartment if they get lost in the narrow streets.
