ARCE HABITACIONES, Madrid

The property is a 9-minute walk from Gran Via Metro Station, 12 minutes on foot to Reina Sofia Museum, and less than 1 km to the Prado Museum. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is 600 metres away, and Mercado San Miguel is less than 1 km. The Atocha train station is 1 km away, and Madrid-Barajas Airport is 13 km. Many restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walk, including Inclan Brutal Bar and Lateral Santa Ana at 0.5 km. The area is very walkable, and the central location means most major attractions are accessible on foot.

The accommodation offers double and triple rooms. Double rooms have one bed, and triple rooms have two beds. All rooms feature a shared bathroom and heating. Noise transfer between rooms is significant due to thin walls; light sleepers should bring earplugs. Many rooms face an internal courtyard, which keeps them quiet, but some have no window, resulting in poor ventilation and a stuffy feeling. There is no air conditioning, and the fan may not always function. Furniture is minimal-just a bed and a small shelf or stool; there is no desk, wardrobe, or chair in most rooms. The shared bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and is cleaned daily, but hot water may run out if multiple guests shower in succession. Some rooms have a heater.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in all areas, though the router is located in one room, so connection reliability can vary; occasional daytime dropouts occur. The shared kitchen includes a hob, kettle, fridge, and microwave, but has no dining table or enough space for meal preparation. Kitchen use is limited to before 21:00. The shared bathroom is cleaned daily. Check-in is from 15:00, and check-out is at 11:00. Late arrivals after 20:00 incur a fee of €20, and after 00:00 a fee of €40. Luggage storage is not available. Staff speak English and Spanish. Pets are not allowed. An invoice is provided upon request.
