ARENA MALAGA SUITES, Malaga

The hotel sits in a light-industrial estate on the eastern edge of Málaga, surrounded by commercial units and storage warehouses. This means the immediate surroundings are quiet and undeveloped, yet the location offers very short drives to both the airport and the coastal promenade. Sacaba Beach is a 25-minute walk or a five-minute drive. The Picasso Museum and Málaga Cathedral are easily reached by metro or bus from the nearby station. The hotel is particularly well suited for travellers with early flights, with the terminal just five minutes away by car. A variety of restaurants, including Italian and beachside options, are within a 1km radius. On-site parking is available but must be reserved in advance (€10 per stay).

Two double-room categories are available. The standard double has a walk-in shower, wardrobe, and a private entrance. The superior double adds an in-room jacuzzi, a sofa, and a bathtub with hairdryer. Both include free toiletries, an AM/FM alarm clock, and daily housekeeping that maintains a high standard of cleanliness. Rooms are quiet, making them suitable for both rest and work. They are located on multiple floors with lift access, and wheelchair-accessible rooms are available featuring adapted bathrooms with lower sinks, raised toilets, and grab rails. No balconies or views are offered, but practicality and comfort are prioritised, with the airport just a short drive away.

Breakfast is served daily as a self-serve buffet with hot and cold options. Quality bread and fresh coffee are highlights. The hotel does not operate its own restaurant for lunch or dinner, but a range of dining choices-from Italian and beachfront restaurants to fast-food outlets-are within a 1km walk. For longer stays or evening meals, these nearby options provide convenient alternatives without needing to drive.

The superior double room includes a private jacuzzi, while a free public bath provides additional relaxation possibilities. There is no pool or gym. For outdoor leisure, Sacaba Beach is 2.3km away, reachable on foot in about 25 minutes or a short drive. The beach offers a public area for sunbathing and swimming, suitable for a few hours of coastal recreation.

Additional services include express online check-in with mobile key, private check-in/out, a tour desk, and an airport shuttle (€30, on request). Safety features comprise CCTV inside and outside, fire extinguishers, a security alarm, and smoke alarms. The property is wheelchair accessible with accessible parking, an elevator, and adapted bathrooms in wheelchair-accessible rooms. Other amenities include drink and snack vending machines, daily housekeeping, an electric vehicle charging station, and lift access throughout. Pets are not allowed, and the entire property is non-smoking.
