BANDBFIRENZE 8 CITTADELLA 8, Florence

On a tranquil internal road just outside the ZTL, the B&B is perfectly positioned for car-free exploration. The historic core-Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio-is within a 15-20 minute walk, while Fortezza da Basso and Stazione Leopolda (exhibition venues) are under 5 minutes away. The Belfiore tram stop is only 300 m away, providing quick access to the airport, Careggi Hospital, and suburban districts. Numerous restaurants (Trattoria Dall'Oste, Il Gusto Dim Sum, Haveli Indian) are within a 5-10 minute stroll. Parking garages (Garage Porte Nuove, Parking Porta a Prato) are 300 m from the property.

Each room has its own character: 'Da Tetti' overlooks a quiet street with watercolor roof views and stone/brick details; 'Il Silenzio del Mattino' is the largest, facing Via Cittadella in beige/gray with silver accents; 'Sogni d'Oro' has original 1930 beams and a private garden view (23 m², up to 3 people); 'Romantic' features shabby chic decor with neutral tones. All rooms include minibar, electric kettle, safe, and free toiletries. The bathroom size varies-some are basic but comfortable, others large with black mosaic tiling. Beds are consistently described as very comfortable. Soundproofing is adequate; some rooms share a quiet internal road while 'Il Silenzio del Mattino' overlooks the street. No rooms have a balcony. Room assignments are random, but specific requests are accommodated when possible.

A self-serve coffee corner is open during the day, offering free espresso, cappuccino, tea, and packaged cookies. For a fuller morning meal, the property offers an Italian sweet buffet breakfast (pastries, beverages) at €8.50 per person. The base rate does not include breakfast-it must be requested separately. There is no restaurant on site, but the surrounding streets are lined with diverse dining options (Italian, Japanese, Indian, kebab) within a 3-10 minute walk, making it easy to plan meals outside.

The property is a small city-centre B&B and does not offer recreational or wellness facilities. For leisure activities, guests can enjoy nearby attractions like Cascine Park (15 minutes walk), the Fortezza da Basso exhibition grounds, and the historic centre's museums and galleries.
