B&B CORSINI, Bologna

The property sits in a quiet neighbourhood about 4 km from Piazza Maggiore and Quadrilatero Bologna, and 2 km from MAMbo. A bus stop is directly across the street, with lines 18, 30 and 11 providing a 15-minute ride into the historic centre and to Bologna Central Station. The airport is a 15-minute taxi ride or a 20-minute walk. Within a few minutes' walk there is a Lidl supermarket, a pastry shop, a few restaurants and takeaways, and a tobacconist where you can buy a 10-journey bus ticket. The area has good cycle access to the centre and plenty of nearby terraces.

The property offers both double rooms and one-bedroom apartments. The double rooms feature a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, dining area, wardrobe, heating, and a private bathroom with shower, bidet, hairdryer and free toiletries. Some units include a balcony. The apartments add a living room, separate bedroom, and a full kitchen with a refrigerator, electric kettle, and dining table, plus 2 beds. All accommodation is modern, recently renovated, and spotless, with a comfortable mattress and a hotel-like feel. Road-facing rooms have good window insulation, making them quiet for light sleepers. A shared kitchen on the floor is stocked with free tea, coffee, cookies, snacks and cold water, and each room has a designated shelf in the refrigerator.

Breakfast is included and works in two ways: a voucher for the café next door (Spirito Divino) offering a choice of a sweet pastry or a sandwich plus a drink, and a fully equipped shared kitchen with free biscuits, crackers, jams, tea, coffee, milk, and hot chocolate. The kitchen also has a microwave, dishwasher, water dispenser and fridge space. The café is right next to the building and the bus stop. Several restaurants and takeaways, including Megu, Baccante Ristorante Vinoteca Tigelleria, FooGood, and Pizza places, are within a 5-10 minute walk. The area has a good number of nearby terraces.
