ROOMS DELL'ORSO - AFFITTACAMERE GUEST HOUSE, Bologna

The property sits in a quiet side street off a main pedestrian thoroughfare, meaning the city's main attractions-Piazza Maggiore, the Two Towers, and the shopping streets-are all within a 5-10 minute walk. The main train station is a 15-minute walk, making day trips easy. With no on-site parking, the central location is best suited for walking or public transport, though a public garage is nearby. The area is lively with restaurants, cafés, and shops right outside the door.

Each room offers a private bathroom with either a shower or bathtub, a hairdryer, and free toiletries. Many have balconies with electric shutters. The rooms are well-equipped with air conditioning, heating, a safety deposit box, a mini fridge, and an electric kettle. A shared coffee machine with free pods is available in the hallway. Rooms tend to be quiet thanks to the side-street location, though those nearer the entrance may experience more noise from the hall or other guests - front-facing rooms are quieter. There is no cooking equipment, but there is a vending machine for drinks. Daily housekeeping is provided and includes tidying, towel changes, and occasional linen changes.

A typical Italian breakfast (coffee, pastries, juice) can be enjoyed at a partnered café just a few minutes from the property. Alternatively, the surrounding streets are lined with restaurants, trattorias, pizzerias, and cafés, all within a 0.5 km radius. There is no on-site restaurant, so guests planning a full dinner or lunch will walk out to the numerous nearby eateries. The hallway coffee station is available for self-service throughout the day.

There is no wellness facility, swimming pool, or gym at the property. However, the location in the historic pedestrian centre puts museums, galleries, shopping, and the main square within minutes. For outdoor relaxation, the nearby Balcony rooms and the terrace offer space to unwind. The city's parks and gardens are also within walking distance.

Free WiFi is available in all areas. Luggage storage is free of charge - bags can be left at the property before check-in or after check-out, with storage available all day. Check-in uses a two-code system, allowing late arrivals with no need for a physical key. Daily housekeeping includes room cleaning, towel changes, and tidying. A vending machine for drinks is on site, and a safety deposit box is provided in each room. No on-site parking, no laundry equipment, and no shuttle service; guests must use nearby public parking options. The host communicates via WhatsApp and can assist with early check-in or luggage storage if needed.
