BORGO PLACE, Rome

The location is a major strength for sightseeing. St. Peter's Basilica and Square are within a 5-minute walk, the Vatican Museums are less than 1 km away, and the Prati district offers excellent public transport connections, including a metro station. Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, and Castel Sant'Angelo are all within walking distance. Rome Ciampino Airport is 17 km away. The immediate area is filled with restaurants, cafés, and shops, all within 300 metres. The apartment's entrance is on a charming café-lined street, but the unit itself faces the opposite side, providing a surprisingly quiet and calm retreat despite the bustling surroundings.

The studio offers a quiet street view, a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, a tiled floor, and a private bathroom with a shower, bidet and hairdryer. It fits one double bed and is ideal for a couple using the apartment purely for sleeping and sightseeing. The one-bedroom apartment adds a separate living room, a separate bedroom with two beds (a double and a single), a washing machine, a dining area, and a seating area, making it more suitable for a small family or guests wanting more space. All units include a flat-screen TV, free toiletries, ironing facilities, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, and kitchenware. The property also provides a lift, and cots can be requested.

The apartment offers no on-site dining, which is standard for a self-catering apartment. The well-equipped kitchenette means you can prepare your own meals using fresh local ingredients. However, the location on Borgo Pio provides immediate access to a cluster of restaurants and cafés within 0.5 km, including Ristorante Romolo alla Mole Adriana, Gran Caffee Borgo, Il Papalino, Mama Eat Street Food, and many more. This variety suits different tastes and budgets, and the lively street atmosphere makes eating out a practical and enjoyable option for every meal.

There are no on-site wellness or leisure facilities, which is typical for a city-centre apartment. However, the property's location provides immediate access to Rome's major cultural and historical sites, including St. Peter's Square, the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, and Campo de' Fiori. For an outdoor leisure option, there is an ice-skating rink in the surrounding area. Guests planning to use a gym or spa will need to look for external facilities nearby.
