Rooms are equipped with a kettle, tea/coffee maker, and a double bed (some rooms have two single beds). The shared bathroom includes a bath, shower, and hairdryer; free toiletries are provided. Rooms vary in size - some are very small, originally storage spaces, with limited floor area. In some rooms, a boiler or heating unit occupies space, making the room hot and difficult to move around. Windows have glass panels above doors that allow hall light in, and thin walls mean noise from other rooms and the street is audible - including aeroplanes. An uncomfortable sofa bed has been reported. Rooms are clean but basic, with some signs of maintenance issues such as mould near the wall, dusty vents, and dirty blinds. Heating is controllable but may not function reliably in all rooms.
