The hostel lies in a lively, safe neighbourhood with a strong Parisian atmosphere. Metro line 8 is a 3-minute walk away, providing direct connections to the rest of the city. Several other metro stations are within easy reach. The area is packed with affordable restaurants, bakeries, cafés, supermarkets and pharmacies. Notre Dame Cathedral is 2 km away, the Pompidou Centre 2 km, the Louvre 3 km. Paris-Orly Airport is 14 km away. The 24-hour reception means late check-in is straightforward, and the location is ideal for a short stopover between train journeys.

A mix of single rooms, twin rooms and apartments are available. Single rooms are 12 m2 with a shared bathroom; twin rooms may have a private shower and sink inside the room, or a shared facility. Apartments include a separate bedroom, living room and a private bathroom. Some twin rooms feature a flat-screen TV. A flat-screen TV and heating are standard. Rooms facing the road may experience street noise. A single outlet is present, so a power strip is recommended if charging multiple devices. Some rooms have a curtain separating the shower and sink from the sleeping area, which can lead to water splashes. Mattress quality is variable, and a plastic mattress cover is sometimes used. Summer temperatures can be warm, and ventilation may be limited.

Breakfast is a simple, fixed selection: a baguette, butter, jam, a small cake, and hot drinks from a machine. Orange juice is also available. There is no buffet, no hot food, and no ingredients like cheese or ham. Guests who arrive towards the end of the breakfast window may find some items have run out. The property does not offer a pool, spa, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, games room or outdoor leisure area. The shared area with a vending machine and microwave is the only common space for relaxing. For leisure, the lively Bastille neighbourhood and nearby parks provide entertainment outside the hostel.
