HOTEL LE DAUM, Paris

The hotel sits on a quiet side street a 5-minute walk from Daumesnil station (lines 6 and 8) and Michel Bizot station (line 8). Metro line 6 reaches the Eiffel Tower in 38 minutes, while line 8 connects directly to central Paris. The area is safe and well-supplied with bakeries, restaurants and a Monoprix supermarket. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, the cheapest option is RER B to Gare du Nord, then metro line 5 to République and line 8 to Michel Bizot - about 1 hour. By car it is 25 minutes from the airport depending on traffic. Several bus lines and a tram also pass within a few hundred metres, making car-free city access practical.

The hotel offers single and double rooms only (no twin setups). Each room has air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen smart TV with Netflix/Amazon Prime/Disney+ access, a safe, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and hairdryer. Superior rooms are slightly more spacious and include a coffee machine. Rooms facing the street are quieter thanks to double-glazed windows. Note that the lift serves the first to fifth floors via a half-landing staircase, so a few steps are required to access the lift. There are no balconies or minibars, and no full-length mirror in the rooms.

Breakfast is a continental buffet offering bread, pastries, cheese, yogurt, home-baked cake and hot drinks. The selection is limited to cold items and a few sweet choices; hot eggs or meat are not provided. The hotel does not have a restaurant, bar or room-service, but a vending machine with drinks is available. Free coffee, tea and pastries are available in the lobby throughout the day, and many bakeries, cafes and restaurants are within a short walk.

Hotel Le Daum does not have a swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym or any leisure facility. The hotel's leisure offering centres on its residential neighbourhood, which is close to the Bois de Vincennes park and the lively Bercy Village area with shops, cinemas and restaurants. The shared lounge/TV area in the hotel provides a space for relaxing.
