HAMPTON INN PIGEON FORGE, Pigeon Forge

The hotel is set back from the main highway, providing a quiet setting while still being close to the area's attractions. The LeConte Center is a short walk away via a convenient skywalk, and The Island entertainment complex is within easy walking distance. Over a dozen restaurants and shops are within a 5-minute walk, including options like Mellow Mushroom, Bullfish Grill, and Puckett's. The Ripken Experience is 3 km away, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 16 km by car. For days without a car, the trolley stop in front of the hotel offers a practical way to reach Dollywood and other destinations. Free on-site parking is also available without a reservation.

All rooms come with a private bathroom with a tub/shower combo (with the exception of two handicap-accessible rooms with roll-in showers), hairdryer, and complimentary bath amenities. Room types include standard doubles, king rooms, and family rooms with up to three beds. Some suites offer a king bed and a jacuzzi tub. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating, though the AC can be noisy in some units. The mattresses are firm, which may not suit those who prefer a softer feel. The property is non-smoking throughout, and no rooms have balconies. Some rooms have vinyl plank flooring, which helps manage pet-related odours better than carpet. For light sleepers, requesting a top-floor room away from the elevator is advisable.

The breakfast area is well-maintained and regularly restocked, with choices including biscuits and gravy, sausage or bacon, make-your-own waffles, yogurt, fruit, and a selection of cereals. Coffee and hot chocolate are available in the lobby throughout the day, and cookies are offered in the evening. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but a snack bar and vending machines with drinks and snacks are available. The surrounding area offers numerous dining options within a short walk, from casual eateries to sit-down restaurants.

The indoor pool is heated to 26 °C and open daily from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The outdoor pool area includes a separate kiddie pool and is a popular spot for families during warmer months. The outdoor hot tub is typically open from early spring to early October. A fitness centre with basic equipment is available for guests, as well as a business centre with fax/photocopying services. The hotel also features a porch with rocking chairs, an outdoor fireplace, and a communal den with a fireplace - all offering spaces to relax after a day out.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Parking is free and does not require a reservation. The 24-hour front desk can assist with luggage carts (no designated bellman) and express check-in/out. Laundry services are available for an additional charge, and a minimarket is on site. The property is wheelchair-accessible with accessible parking, raised toilets, grab rails, and Braille/tactile signage. Pets are allowed with a $75 or $125 fee depending on stay length. Room keys use key card access, and a safety deposit box is available at the front desk. Note that some room configurations do not have adjoining doors, and certain units on the ground level lack walk-in showers.
