CAMALDOLI HOUSE, Milan

The apartment sits on the outskirts of Milan, 2 km from Linate Airport - useful for early flights. The neighbourhood is a working-class suburb; arriving by car is strongly recommended, as walking or using local buses to reach central landmarks (Milano Dateo Metro Station and Villa Necchi Campiglio are 6 km away) is time-consuming. Free public parking is available on nearby streets without reservation, though roadworks in the area can occasionally complicate access. A bar and a small grocery shop are within walking distance; Antica Trattoria Bagutto is 0.5 km away.

The apartment comprises 1 bedroom, 1 living room with a sofa bed and 1 bathroom with shower and bidet. The bedroom has a double bed, the sofa converts to a bed, and there is bedding for up to 3 beds in total. The kitchenette includes a stovetop, oven, fridge, kettle and cookware. The balcony looks out onto mountain views. Soundproof walls, a washing machine, ironing facilities, heating and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels are provided. The building is older with steep stairs and no elevator; the apartment is on the second or third floor. Some details (windows that do not close fully, worn mattresses, limited storage) reflect a basic standard. Suitable for short, no-fuss stays near the airport.

Breakfast can be served in the room. For other meals, Antica Trattoria Bagutto is a 10-minute walk (0.5 km). A bar on the ground floor provides drinks and basic food. A small grocery shop is nearby for self-catering. The kitchenette in the apartment allows guests to prepare simple meals. No restaurant on site.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Free public parking is possible on nearby streets without a reservation. The apartment has a washing machine and ironing facilities. There is no lift - the apartment is on the second or third floor. Check-in is from 14:00 to 16:00 (extendable to 20:00 with prior notice), check-out by 10:00. No pets allowed.
