CAMPING SOKOL PRAHA, Prague

The campsite is set within a scenic lake and nature park, with the Cerny Most Golf Resort 500 metres away. A free shuttle bus runs to the train station, and the journey to Prague's historic city centre takes approximately 15 minutes by train. The location is well-regarded for public transport access, with a bus stop also nearby for city connections. For drivers, free private parking is available on site, making car-based exploration simple. The immediate area feels leafy and quiet, with a park and a lake across the road suitable for walks, though swimming is not permitted in the lake.

The accommodation consists of mobile homes and bungalows, each with a private entrance, private bathroom with shower, a seating area, and a patio with outdoor furniture. The kitchenettes include a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and kitchenware. A bungalow option has 1 living room, 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4; a larger mobile home offers 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6. Units feature heating, tea and coffee making facilities, and a dining table. Units are compact, and the mobile homes are positioned close together, so those valuing space may prefer the bungalows. No air conditioning is provided, and windows lack mosquito nets, so bringing a fan and insect repellent is advisable. The accommodation is heated, making it comfortable in cooler months. Bed sizes and mattresses are described as on the smaller side, so taller travellers should be aware.

The campsite's restaurant, Restaurace Na Kempu, serves international dishes and vegetarian options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a family-friendly setting. A bar is on site, and kids' meals are available for an additional charge. Breakfast is offered as a buffet for 12 EUR per person, with a selection that includes bread, pastries, and hot drinks. For self-catering, each unit has a fully equipped kitchenette, and several food shops are found within the campsite. Nearby dining options include Pizzerie Al Mulino (0.5 km), Leta pane (0.5 km), and Cesky Statek (0.5 km).

The property features two seasonal outdoor pools - a main pool and a separate shallow-end kids' pool - both open from 09:00 to 19:00 and fenced for safety. Sun loungers and beach chairs are provided on the surrounding terrace. Leisure activities include a children's playground, a trampoline, table tennis, live sport events, and bicycle rental. Hiking and cycling can be enjoyed in the nearby nature park and lake area (off-site, free). A mini golf course is also on site. For families, board games and kids' outdoor play equipment are available. There is no spa or wellness centre.

Fast free Wi-Fi (up to 81 Mbps) is available throughout the property, suitable for streaming and video calls. Free private parking is offered on site with no reservation required, and street parking is also possible. A free shuttle service to the train station operates during the morning, and public transport tickets can be purchased on site. For added convenience, luggage storage is free, and a paid laundry service is available. The reception desk provides currency exchange and a tour desk, and an invoice can be provided. Safety deposit boxes are free to use. The property is non-smoking throughout, and a minimarket sells fresh bread daily. Pets are allowed with possible charges. A shared kitchen is also accessible for guest use.
